Portezuelo: a place to photograph

Talk about a photograph is very difficult because I have many pictures that I love. So, in this oportunity I will tell you about the place in that I took these photographys.
I took all these photographys in a town called Portezuelo, located 30 km to the coast of Chillan. I spend all my holidays in this place and I think is a place very beautiful. In the previous post I told them that I love nature and in these photographys you can see that Portezuelo is characterized by beautiful landscapes.

I took all these photographys in diferents moments. Every time I go to walk to Portezuelo, I take along a camera and took many photographys of the beautiful places that I visit. I have a collection of photographs of Portezuelo and these are some of them.

All these photographs have many colors and is reflected in them the beauty of many parts of our country.

One photograph shows the birth of the calf, this happened in the field of my
grandmother and that moment was a very nice, luckily I had my camera there!
In another photograph that portrayed Portezuelo square, the day before was raining a lot and the next day when I took the photography, the sky was wonderful, the clouds seemed to be painted in the sky.

Well, as you can see, I love nature! Whenever I'm in Portezuelo and spent part of the day walking and taking photographys!

My Hobby

Today I will tell you about my hobby, but more than a hobby it a life habit.

My hobby is something strange. In my spare time I love going to a place called "Casa de la Cultura in San Bernardo. This is a beautiful place with many natural areas, many trees and a big old house. I love to go there to listen to music, biking, reading some books or just go sit for a moment. Whenever I feel troubled and need to take a minute in life, I go to this place and I'm in a long time.

I've always loved nature and spending time in it is great.
I have done this since I was fifteen and it's part of my life, is a habit.I live in San Bernardo and the house of culture is 20 minutes from my house so whenever I want to go is easy to get to this place. The "Casa de la Cultura" is a great place to think, reflect and enjoy nature instead.

I always like to be alone and take a little time just for me and complement this with my love of nature is the best!

Another thing I liked a lot is riding a bicycle and the house of culture is the perfect place for this.

Well, now you know a little more of my tastes and I hope to know about yours.

Man on Fire

I love the seventh art and there are many movies that I like, but one of my favourites is Men on Fire. This movie is released in the 2004 and addresses the topic of kidnapping. Denzel Washington (John Creasy), Hannah Dakota Fanning (Lupita) and Marc Anthony (Lupita's father) are the main actors.

The film is developed in the city of mexico, a city that has seen whips by a large number of kidnappings. For this situation, the Ramos family decides to hire a bodyguard for his daughter, Lupita. So appears on the scene, John Creasy, who takes the job of Lupita's bodyguard. Arises a beautiful friendship between Lupita and Creasy. Lupita help to Creasy to overcome various conflicts of his past.

The conflict of the film arises when Lupita is kidnapped. Crasy promises to avenge the kidnapping of Lupita and after a while Creasy find out Lupita's father is involved in the kidnapping of his daughter and... Well, I will not tell the end of the movie because I hope to be seen xD

I like this movie for its plot and the way in which the actors play their roles. The topic of kidnapping is very well illustrated and the outcome of the movie is spectacular, so I invite you to see it!

Cell phone!

A mobile phone, also called mobile, cellphone or handphone, is an electronic device used for mobile telecommunications. Mobile phones are used for a variety of purposes, including keeping in touch with family members,business, and having access to a telephone in the event of an emergency. Some people carry more than one cell phone for different purposes, such as for business and personal use. Multiple SIM cards may also be used to take advantage of the benefits of different calling plans, a particular plan might provide cheaper local calls, long-distance calls or international calls.

In addition to being a telephone, modern mobile phones also support many additional services, and accessories, such as SMS (or text) messages, email, Internet access, gaming, Bluetooth, infrared, camera, MMS messaging, MP3 player, radio and GPS.

Mobile phones generally obtain power from rechargeable batteries. There are a variety of ways used to charge cell phones, including USB, portable batteries and mains power.

When I turned 15 years my brother gave me my first cell phone. The cell phone is assential for me, I’m always in touch with my family, my friends and I use to listen to music and save important information. I use it all the days of the week and every hour (jajaja =D)

My life with out cell phone would be very disconnected and maybe a bit chaotic, my family would look for me all day and I spend lots of money on public telephones jaja.

I think today everyone have a cellphone because is very necessary and if you don’t have one, I suggest that you buy it! xD

Hi everyone!!

My favourite festivity is the New year! This festivity is very important in the world and is celebrate in many countries of diferent form. January 1 is a day very important in the world. The people celebrate the arrival of a new year and many celebrations with fireworks are held in the most important cities of the world
Some of the most importante events are held in Sidney, Hong Kong, Londres, Nueva York, Rio de Janeiro and Valparaiso.

In the Hispanoamerican culture there many traditions and superstitions for this night as a form of good fortune for the New Year. Open a bottle of champagne exactly at 00:00 is a of the most important symbols in this festivity.

The New Year is very important to the comunity because this celebration unites the people in an atmosphere of joy and optimism and many people consider that this date marks a change in their lives. The world is watching what happens in other countries.

I like this festivity because with my family we have many traditions in this night. We met with other family members and together we celebrate the arrival of the new year. We eat lentils, grape and we run around the our house with suitcases! jajjaja...

Elias Escaff

Hi classmates!

The person/expert on my field that I admire is Elias Escaff. He is Psychologist of de Universidad de Chile. From 1992 is teacher of the legal Psychology in our university.

He has worked for over 30 years in matters relating to social research, legal psychology and victimology.Professionally, he worked from 1971 to 2003 in the investigative Police of Chile, where he crated the first victimology center of the country, the Center for Assistance to Victims of Sexual Assault (CAVAS), In that role, select and form interdisciplinary teams responsible for the comprehensive care of victims and designs intervention strategies for the treatment of those affected by sexual crimes.


From 2004 to 2007, he was named manager of the Nacional Division for Visctims and Witnesses.

The area of Psychology that I like is ligal Psychology and I think Elias Escaff is the mentor of this area in our country. He observed improper practices within the field of legal proceedings and began the work to change the system and most of the changes have been for his work.

Two weeks ago I had a class with him and he told us about his work and areas of action that legal psychology have and i confirmed my love for this area.

My favourite Music

Hello everyone!

I like the music of de 80's and 90's. My favourite band is Depeche Mode.
They are a british band and the kind of music they play is electronic. Depeche Mode was founded in 1980 by Vince Clarke and Andrew Fletcher and some time after joined to the band Martin Gore and David Gahan but for some problems Vince left the band.

Depeche Mode have 12 albums and my favourite is "Violator" and my favourite song is The Policy of Truth. The band have a long history and are very known around the world. They were an infuence on the development of techno music during the 80s and a source inspiration for many artists as Pet Shop Boys, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead and LP.

I like Depeche Mode because I think their music is fantastic, the letters of the songs are very interesting. My brother is a Depeche's fans and I think he is to blame of my obsession for this band jajaja.

If you do not know depeche mode, you should listen their songs and immediately you'll get fans!
